What is executive presence and how does having it (nor not having it) affect our careers?  Can one develop an executive presence or is it something innate?   How can we acquire it?

This month’s Leadership Breakfast Event is designed to help participants strengthen executive presence, increase organizational savvy, and establish greater credibility with managers, colleagues, and clients.  The two presenters, Kim Leathley and Amy Weeden, will define executive presence and describe the specific characteristics that they have observed in inspirational leaders throughout their personal careers.

Executive presence is an important attribute for leaders and aspiring leaders alike.  Individuals who exhibit presence quickly become essential to their teams and organizations and inspire others to work with them.  This session will present a practical and foundational framework for building an executive presence that includes communicating verbally and non-verbally, developing situational awareness and presenting a point of view. Tools and techniques will be shared for participants to assess and improve their abilities in relevant areas.
